I finally got back to working on this sketch. In just a short while, it's come a long way. I think the initial sketch almost took longer to it did to develope it further to this point. But I think that taking the time to get the proportions correct was worth the effort, even though I had to fight the urge to start working right away on the values (lights and darks) and details. I have to say that I had my doubts as to how this would work up since the initial sketch seemed so far from looking finished.
